April was a busy month for the band and me in the run up to our gig at Monto Water Rats on 4th May. We worked hard in rehearsals arranging new songs and giving some of the EP tracks a face lift to appeal to our fans that knew them well.
Our gig was a success and the new songs were received well. We loved performing again for everyone and supporting Aziz Ibrahim for his album launch show which was amazing.
We were lucky to chat to Aziz and some of his team after his performance and even get a few photos with him!
We’ve back rehearsing tonight to prepare for our first festival in Chepstow, Wales on Saturday 19th – Devauden Fest which we are really looking forward to. Check it out here: http://www.devaudenmusicfest.com/
We’re really excited to be a part of a festival with such a great cause.
Performing outside can be challenging so I’m taking my wellies and umbrella incase the weather decides to miss behave. Hopefully though this won’t dampen the spirit on the day.
We promise to take lots of pictures and footage for you to view on our return and we’ll keep you posted on facebook and twitter of how we’re getting on.
